Silly Summer Fun!

We've been waiting for it all year -- for school to be out, for summer to be here so we could be outside & spend time at the pool! So....what do the kids do, they put on their winter coats & pretend it's winter outside. I guess nobody can blame them for trying to have a good time, right?!

Dancing Queen

For as long as I can remember Alyssa has wanted to take dance. She's done many years of gymnastics & a year of cheerleading, but she's always still wanted to take dance. So, after taking Summer & Fall off to get settled into our new house, we decided it was time to let her try it. So, in February she started jazz. Here are some pictures from her dress rehearsal/picture day & from her on recital day. I was really proud of how well she did at the recital -- she did super good considering she's only been in dance for 4 months.

They don't let you take pictures of the recital -- that's the way they get you to buy the DVD, but here are a few pictures of her after her performance.
