Alyssa had western day at school.
Lauren is going to be so sad when Bubba goes off to kindergarten. Her playmate is going to be gone. They always find a way to amuse themselves
What a beautiful month -- we did lots of playing outside!
I saw this sunset out our front door & thought the colors were just beautiful!
What a great week! Spring Break just flew by too fast. The week was a lot of fun -- we spent lots of quality time together and enjoyed the awesome weather. Did I mention sleeping in -- not setting an alarm was great, too!
On Tuesday, we went to Marble Falls to Sweet Berry Farms to pick strawberries. We met some friends out there & when we were done we went to the park for a picnic and some play time. The kids seemed to really enjoy themselves, especially Lauren who probably ate her weight in strawberries. I’m not sure if she’s allergic to them, but she still has a rash on her tummy & diaper area?!
We spent lots of time going on walks and play outside, too. We even planted our spring flowers.
We went & ate on the lake at a restaurant where the kids could feed the fish & ducks. Some of those fish were humongous!
On Friday Daddy took off work & we went to the Fair & Rodeo. The kids rode tons of rides. Well, Lauren pretty much ate the whole time, that’s what she likes to do! I was so surprised by the lack of fear in my middle child. He has none & wanted to ride everything. He really is too small, but the shoes he wore gave him a little extra height & he could ride them. Alyssa enjoyed the petting zoo & all 3 loved the pig races!
Tomorrow is back to reality -- alarms, schedules, carpool, etc. I’m ready for summer!
